Step 1: CreateEdit

Make your page. If you don't know how, there is a button on the top right of the Wiki that says "Contribute". Click that button and it'll show you some choices you can make. Click "Add a Page" to create your new page. Ensure that it follows all the regulations outlined on the Guidelines page. If it doesn't follow the guidelines it will not be accepted into fanon when it is reviewed.

Step 2: CheckEdit

Check that your page has everything required to be considered complete.

If it's a character page it must have details on at least the following:

  1. Name
  1. Species
  1. Gender (If applicable)
  1. Appearance
  1. Personality
  1. History
  1. Equipment
  1. Abilities

If your page is for a planet or group or other greater-scale object it should have at least the following:

  1. Name
  1. Overview
  1. History

If your page is for a weapon or ship or other kind of technology it should have at least the following:

  1. Name
  1. Overview
  1. Appearance
  1. Functionality

Step 3: SubmitEdit

In order to submit a page for review, once it's ready, all you have to do is add it to the "Pending" category. After that you just have to wait for one of the Reviewers to read your page and decide if it fits in fanon or not.

If the reviewer accepts your page, your page is now a part of the unified fanon universe. Congratulations! You can make minor edits to your page without resubmitting. Just make sure that if you do anything that might stretch the rules, you must resubmit into Pending afterwards and comment on what you edited in the comment section. You should also resubmit if you add or edit as much as a third of the content on the page. But also be aware that reviewers may be busy. You shouldn't resubmit the same page too very often. Once every few months is probably a good balance.

If the reviewer rejects your page, move forward to step 4.

Step 4: RevisionEdit

If your page is rejected from fanon that doesn't mean the page can't ever be accepted. The reviewer will supply a list of reasons for the rejection in their review. Once every item on that list has been addressed you can resubmit your page for review. If you're rejected again just deal with the issues listed in the new review and try again.

There is no minimum time between rejection and resubmition. Whenever you finish addressing the problems on the list you can resubmit for review immediately.
